Biography for Monty Rainwater My name is Monty Rainwater. I was born in Oklahoma City and moved to Norman, Oklahoma with my family on my third birthday, to the home my parents still live in. I grew up there with my father, mother and younger brother. I attended the Moore Oklahoma school system from kindergarten through 12th grade, graduating from Moore High. I then attended the University of Oklahoma graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After graduation I started work at the Oklahoma City office of Coopers and Lybrand (later to become PricewaterhouseCoopers). I worked as a business assurance (audit) associate for two years and an additional three plus years as a senior associate. While working there I meet Patty who eventually became my wife. In 2001 I moved my growing family to Portage, MI, near the area where my wife grew up. We eventually had four children together, Rebekah, Alyssa, Sarah and Caleb. While residing in Michigan I have continuously worked in the field of accounting/auditing, most recently as an internal audit manager. In 2018 I suddenly lost my brother to a rare form of cancer. I miss him greatly. However, I take comfort in his relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and that God created the heavens and earth in six days. At the appointed time, God sent His own Son, Jesus Christ to the world to live a sinless live and then die for my sins and for the sins of all. By believing Jesus is the son of God and that He died for my sins, I have eternal life by trusting in Him and making Him the Lord of my life. Although I am very far from perfect, I have an inheritance and will spend eternity with my Lord. Christ has cleansed me of all unrighteousness. Monty Rainwater
